Celebrating the power of youth!
From now until August 2011, the UN has declared it the International Year of Youth. At WUSC, we see first-hand the passion and dedication youth have towards international development. Over 80 Local Committees across the country help to promote WUSC’s projects and campaigns while engaging their communities. Each year, dozens of talented young men and women come to Canada to attend university and college through the Student Refugee Program and International Student Management. Campaigns like Shine a Light help girls increase their self-confidence and realize their potential to help their family, community and themselves. These are just a few of WUSC’s projects and programs where youth make a great impact. This year, let’s celebrate what young men and women around the world can achieve!
