World University Service of Canada

WUSC believes in the power of students to shape the world around them. We know that young people want to help reduce global poverty, and with the proper tools, they can make a difference now and as future leaders. Students play a vital role as members of our organization.

WUSC provides hands-on learning opportunities for students on 80 campuses across the country and around the world by:

promoting volunteerism through WUSC’s International Local Committee network, Students Without Borders™ and our annual International Seminar;
bridging the gap between theory and practice through the WUSC International Forum;
welcoming refugee students through our Student Refugee Program, which enhances the learning experience of the Canadian students who sponsor refugees to pursue their university or college education in Canada;
fostering global citizenship and leadership skills among students through public awareness and action.
