In order to have high quality education, it is necessary to have strong education systems. WUSC works to strengthen educational institutions to play critical coordination, oversight, policy-making and management roles. This involves working with key actors like Ministries of Education, and departments responsible for planning, teacher training, girls’ education, and information technology.
WUSC builds the capacity of educational institutions:
- supporting the Ministry of Education’s efforts to decentralize education in Ghana;
- strengthening the Teacher Education Department in Afghanistan;
- building the capacity of higher education institutions in Indonesia.
