Many universities and colleges hold week-long events, info-fairs, speaker series and movie nights to "explore how Canadians are making a difference around the world" during International Development Week (February 3rd to the 7th)! Why not take part?
You can showcase WUSC's work, the student overseas volunteering opportunities with Uniterra's Student Without Borders®, and your Local Committee’s impact with an activity or table of your own on your campus or in the community. Many Local Committees (9 in fact!) are also planning to hold a Uniterra Symposia event under the theme “Making a difference, one volutneer at a time”. It’s not too plate to start planning your own event!
