World Refugee Day - June 20th 2014

In 2013, 33.3 million people, more people than ever recorded before, were displaced by armed conflict, violence and human rights violations, according to the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) in Geneva. This World Refugee Day (June 20th), help us raise awareness about refugee issues that matter to you. Join us with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in highlighting the stories of individuals and families displaced by war, and the journey of those who have resettled.

Share your story with WUSC!

This World Refugee Day, UNHCR and WUSC are inviting you to “Share your story”.  How have you been affected by conflict and forced displacement? How have resettlement programs like WUSC’s Student Refugee Program made an impact on your life?
