Local Committee of the Year Award
The Annual WUSC Local Committee Award is awarded by the WUSC Board of Directors to recognize the recent contribution of a student or group of students who have demonstrated commitment to international development.

Nominations must include a letter outlining:
- the relationship of the nominator to the Local Committee
- the activities and impact in the community of the Local Committee in the current academic year
- the ongoing contribution of the Local Committee through the years
- why the nominator feels this is an appropriate and timely recognition.

2011: Université Laval
For 15 years, the Université Laval LC has been a very active student group, having sponsored 19 students and organized awareness campaigns each year.
In 2010-2011, the committee has been particularly dynamic, committed and passionate in support of WUSC's mission.
