WUSC’s very own Michelle Manks and Ravi Gupta were recently honoured with Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medals for their outstanding work and dedication to international development.
Michelle, the Senior Program Officer for the Student Refugee Program (SRP) was nominated by Canadian Senator Salma Ataullahjan, after Ms. Ataullahjan heard about the SRP from her daughter Shaanzeh, a Local Committee member at the University of Toronto’s Innis College.
Soon after Ravi, who is our Associate Executive Director was also awarded after he was nominated by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. The medal is in recognition of Ravi’s 20 plus years of work in international education.
Both medals are truly well deserved and reflect the hard work and commitment of all WUSC staff in Canada and overseas.
Congrats Ravi and Michelle!
