Details

Volunteering for development is one of the important ways in which WUSC pursues its mission of sustainable and inclusive changes to create a better world for youth. Our volunteers collaborate with a wide variety of international partners, including women’s associations, youth organizations, social enterprises, skills training centres, and other local institutions providing important services and opportunities to youth, women and refugees . Our network in Canada supports our initiatives by raising awareness among Canadians to inspire greater action on global development issues.

Although international travel has been put on hold until we are confident it is safe to resume our international volunteer support, we are excited to offer e-volunteering opportunities to continue to assist our partners to serve the people most impacted by the global pandemic. Now more than ever, we need your support. Apply today to make an impact internationally.

WUSC’s Safeguarding Policy:

WUSC’s activities seek to balance inequities and create sustainable development around the globe; the work ethic of our staff, volunteers, representatives and partners shall correspond to the values and mission of the organization. WUSC promotes responsibility, respect, honesty, and professional excellence and we will not tolerate harassment, coercion and sexual exploitation and abuse of any form.
