International Seminar

For over 65 years the International Seminar initiated by World University Service of Canada (WUSC) has been providing youth with an in-depth experience in a developing country. The seminar seeks to connect Canadians students with those in southern countries to better understand international development issues and to strengthen partnerships around the globe. The International Seminar is now managed by the Uniterra program, a joint initiative of WUSC and the Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI).

The 2015 International Seminar in Vietnam - Youth Leaders in Entrepreneurship

Twenty-four young entrepreneurs and social innovation leaders from Canada, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Vietnam will gather for two and a half weeks in Hanoi, Vietnam, in November 2015. It will be an opportunity for each of them to share the reality of youth employability and entrepreneurship in their country, to present their business or social venture, to develop their entrepreneurial skills, to deepen their network and to present recommendation to the Uniterra team. The objective is to identify the main issues they face and find solutions to overcome them, in a way that helps the Uniterra Program to better support young entrepreneurs and develop youth employability in its 14 countries of operation.
