WUSC harnesses the generosity and expertise of Canadian volunteers to enhance our program delivery in a variety of countries. These unique short-, medium-, and long-term opportunities contribute directly to WUSC's mission and vision of a better world for all young people.
Whether you are a recent graduate, mid-career, or retired you can give your time and expertise in support of development programs that improve education, economic, and empowerment opportunities for youth in developing countries.
Your work building capacity towards more resilient and inclusive economies is needed now more than ever! Though we have temporarily closed our offices globally, WUSC continues to work with our partners around the world, including through the support of e-volunteers residing in Canada. You can work remotely from your kitchen table and still make an impact through WUSC’s NEW e-volunteering program! See available opportunities below and click here for our e-volunteer FAQ.
If you are interested in volunteering internationally with us, we still want to hear from you. We are continuing to recruit for open international volunteer positions, though departures are on hold. We will not send international volunteers until we are fully confident that it is safe to do so. Please note there will be no international departures before January 2021. However, we are currently recruiting people with Canadian citizenship or permanent residence status who live in one of the countries where our programs are implemented. If this is your case, do not hesitate to send us your application specifying your current country of residence!
