Join us for the 2017 WUSC and CECI International Forum
The next annual International Forum is rapidly approaching! The event, hosted in partnership with CECI, will be held in Montreal from January 20 to 21, 2017. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with a range of actors, including civil society members, youth, representatives from the private sector, researchers, and international development experts, and participate in discussions on some of the pressing issues, challenges, and potential solutions in international development.
This year’s event, Reaching the Tipping Point – How to Cultivate a Brighter Future, will focus on three streams: People, Profit, and Planet. These streams will include conversations on economic reconstruction following humanitarian crises, contributing to an economy that is inclusive and sustainable, and the environment and green economies, respectively. Visit https://internationalforum.ca/schedule/ to read more about this year’s themes.
WUSC’s Annual Assembly will also take place during the International Forum on January 21st. WUSC members as well as the general public are welcome to attend these meetings, though only members in good standing will be eligible to vote. Click here to learn more about WUSC’s Annual Assembly.
