Ride for Refuge 2017: Will you ride with us?
For the sixth time in a row, WUSC is pleased to be participating in the annual Ride for Refuge event – a fundraiser supporting charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable, and exploited people everywhere.
Ride, walk, and fundraise in support of the Student Refugee Program!
WUSC’s Student Refugee Program (SRP) is the only youth-to-youth sponsorship program in the world that combines refugee resettlement with post-secondary education. With your help, we can ensure that more refugees have the opportunity to pursue their education in Canada, in a safe and welcoming environment.
So lace up your shoes or grab your bike and join us on September 30, 2017!
Join a team or make your own!
Graduated Local Committee members and Student Refugee Program students, previous International Seminar participants and Uniterra volunteers, and other friends of WUSC can create their own team or join an existing one. Activate your professional, family, and WUSC networks to help us raise funds for the Student Refugee Program.
Current Local Committees: Ride for Refuge is a great way to kick-start the year with new and established Local Committee members. Work as a team towards an exciting fundraising goal and raise awareness about the Student Refugee Program on your campus and in your community!
Can’t make it out on September 30th? You can still show your support by making a donation to one of our supporters’ teams to help them reach their targets!
