International volunteering provides you with an experience where you are able to directly contribute your skills to development. This experience is unlike any other, as you are placed right at the centre of local communities where you will be immersed in a new culture, while giving back in a meaningful way.
Since 1977, WUSC has provided over 10,000 Canadians with high quality, informative and gratifying international volunteering opportunities. Through this collaborative approach, we are able to foster youth-centered solutions for improved education, economic, and empowerment opportunities to overcome inequality and exclusion in over 15 countries around the world.
Are you interested in joining our global network of individuals passionate about making a positive difference in the world? - Have the opportunity to ask all of your international volunteering questions to our esteemed panel of speakers
The IGNI+E (Innovative Global Networks for Inclusion + Equality) initiative, funded by Global Affairs Canada, supports over 70 partner organizations to advance gender equality and the economic empowerment of 1.2 million youth around the world. IGNI+E harnesses the knowledge, capacity and expertise of skilled Canadians through volunteer assignments and public engagement activities to assist partners in improving their performance, advocating for gender equality, and implementing more sustainable, innovative and inclusive initiatives and services for poor and marginalized youth, particularly young women.
