WUSC’s Recommendations on Canada’s Efforts toward Growth that Works for Everyone
WUSC is committed to supporting the implementation of Global Affairs Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy. We are particularly optimistic about its ability to be leveraged to influence global support for the critical role women play role in inclusive growth.
Inclusive growth means growth that works for everyone. There is a strong development case for the ripple effect of interventions that broaden the inclusivity of economic systems to assist traditionally marginalized groups, such as women and girls, improve their access to services, opportunities, and economic benefits.
The following policy paper identifies three strategic approaches that WUSC believes are critical to sustainably achieving Canada’s commitments to inclusive growth.
